What is the difference between a CSL and an HIC in Massachusetts?
A Construction Supervisor License (CSL) lets a builder oversee structural work under the Massachusetts building code. A Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) registration is required for home remodeling contracts and gives homeowners state consumer protections. Michael Walbridge holds both, an Unrestricted CSL and HIC registration, so your project is covered on both sides.
